Photograph 48cm x 38cm mounted on board. LYR 4-6-0 with what appears to be LNWR Royal Train at Blackpool, probably the 1913 Royal Visit to Lancashire. Immaculately turned out locomotive, specially fitted with 8-wheeled tender, policeman with white gloves! Condition fair, corners worn, some general marks. Possibly a LYR official photo?

Looks to be painted with acrylic paints on artists board, comes with a separate sheet of paper with instructions of colour ways and logo design. A commercial illustration/painting. Believed to be used for the Rovex/Tri-ang Company for a train set box lid. Of a Class 37 Diesel with a Travelling Post Office train with the pick-up mail sacks. Looks to be painted with acrylic paints on artists board signed 'D. Ivory', condition fair some age marks, size 54cm x 41cm. Note on reverse is written 'Rovex'.

Display Model by Clarkson's of York of British Railways Class 85 25KV A.C. Electric Locomotive E3056 in BR blue livery with Lion over Wheel raised crest. An interesting model fabricated in metal as a static display piece, believed to be commissioned by one of the electrical contractors involved in the build of the class 85s and presented to the Doncaster works manager, where it stayed in the works office for many years. It comes on a wooden plinth with perspex cover. Model has a builder's plate 'H Clarkson & Sons, Model Engineers of York' Certainly a one-off.
