Electric Locomotive Worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD. THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LTD. LOCOMOTIVE WORKS, ENGLAND No. 2928/E264 1960. As carried by Class 83 E3024 becoming 83001 1/73. New to 9A Longsight 7/60. Stored at Bury steam shed from 9/68 until moved to Doncaster Works for refurbishment 6/72 and reallocated to ACL 1/73. Withdrawn from Longsight 8/83 and stored at Crewe Works until moved to Vic Berry, Leicester 9/84 and broken up by 1/85. Rectangular chromed brass, face cleaned, rear ex-loco.
