Lot 355 Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Double-Line Absolute Block Instrument in tidy mahogany case. This is a nice example of the later pattern of this instrument which is essentially a lock and block instrument with an electro-mechanical 'train waiting' indicator and track circuit control over the commutator. Fitted with original, cast brass L&Y pattern "FAST" plate.
