Lot 105 Brass Steam Locomotive Nameplate "LORD RODNEY - LORD NELSON CLASS". As carried by Maunsell designed 'Lord Nelson Class' ex S.R 4-6-0 No. 30863, built at Eastleigh works in October 1929. Allocations included Bournemouth, Nine Elms and Eastleigh from where it was withdrawn in February 1962. Cut up at Ashford works 03/62. Lord Rodney (1718-1792) was a British Naval Officer best known for his commands in the American War of Independence. Lightly polished front, ex-loco rear.
