Lot 8 Brass Steam Locomotive Nameplate "FISHER". As carried by a W. Stanier designed ex LMS Class 6P 4-6-0 Number "45669" built at Crewe Works in December 1935. Allocations included Crewe North, Carlisle Upperby, Camden, Holyhead, Willesden, Leeds Holbeck, Rugby and Nuneaton from where it was withdrawn in June 1963. Cut up at Crewe Works 06/63. The plate has six bolt holes and comes from the driver's side, the back and rim are ex-loco. Recovered by the late vendor at the end of steam and never before offered at auction.
