Lot 251 A London & North Western Railway 24 inch Dial Fusee Clock supplied to the L&NWR by John Walker of London. The fuse movement is inscribed "John Walker 77 Cornhill & 230 Regent St, London 703". The back box has a label indicating that the clock was located at OLDHAM MUMPS when returned from service to the BR Clock & Watch Dept., Room 203, Manchester Victoria on 11 December 1979. A large and well-made clock with restored dial, in working order and complete with pendulum and winding key. Excellent working order. Just serviced.
