Lot 140 Brass Oval Steam Locomotive Worksplate "VULCAN FOUNDRY No. 5050 - 1944" As carried by a W.D 2-8-0 No. 90460. In early years it was with the L.N.E.R as No. 3139. Only one plate was carried on these engines, positioned on the L/H side motion bracket. W.D No. 78649. Allocations included Immingham, New England, Colwick, Lincoln and Retford, from where it was withdrawn in June 1965. Cut up at Cox & Danks, Wadsley Bridge.
