C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Number plate "60004" As carried by a Gresley designed ex GNR/LNER/BR A4 4-6-2 Pacific Named "WILLIAM WHITELAW" built at Doncaster works in December 1937. Allocations included Kings Cross, Gateshead, Heaton, Haymarket, Edinburgh St. Margaret's and Aberdeen from where it was withdrawn in July 1966. Cut up at the Motherwell Machinery & Scrap, Inshaw works, Wishaw, 10/66. Front restored a long time ago. A rare opportunity to acquire a iconic A4 Smokebox Plate !!!!!!!!!!
