Lot 14 C/I Steam Locomotive Smoke box Number plate "46428" As carried by an Ivatt designed class 2F 2-6-0 built at Crewe Works in December 1948. Allocations included Preston, Rhyl, Bescot, Bushbury, Wigan Springs branch, Leamington Spa, Tyseley and Crewe South from where it was withdrawn in December 1966. Originally dispatched to Woodhams scrap yard Barry this locomotive was subsequently purchased for preservation and currently resides at the East Lancs Railway.
