Lot 10 Brass Oval Steam Locomotive Worksplate. "THE HUNSLET ENGINE CO LTD - LEEDS - No 3878 -REBUILT - 1961" still affixed with its small engraved brass plate "AUSTERITY LOCOMOTIVE BUILT FOR THE 2nd WORLD WAR ORIGINALLY DATED 1945 VULCAN FOUNDRY No 5280". Originally built as a 0-6-0 by Bagnall of Stafford and allocated new to Marchwood Depot - Hampshire as WD 75290 and Named "MANIPUR". Then transferred to the Longmoor Military Railway. Sold to Hunslet in 1960 and rebuilt as works No 3878 - 1961. Subsequently sold to the NCB at Maerdy Colliery, South Wales were it was numbered No 3. Scrapped June 1971. Ex Loco condition.
