Alloy Oval Industrial Diesel Locomotive Worksplate. HUDSWELL CLARKE, D1254, 1962, as carried by a 0-6-0DM. New to the Manchester Ship Canal Co, their No D10. Rebuilt by Hunslet in 1976, it was given their works no 8522 and acquired by the National Coal Board, working at Coed Bach Disposal Point, Kidwelly by August 1977, Mill Pit Disposal Point, Kenfig Hall by August 1978 and Cwm Mawr Disposal Point, Tumble by October 1985. Acquired by H.F. Bulmer Ltd, Hereford by late 1988, it went to the Swansea Vale Railway for preservation by June 1993 and to Great Eastern Traction at Hardingham Station in 2004. Scrapped by C.F. Booth Ltd, Rotherham in June 2005.Good condition.
