Lot 300 GWR Steam Locomotive Nameplate Set Comprising of Nameplate, Brass Cabside and C/I Smokebox Numberplate as carried by the Collett Castle Class 4-6-0 locomotive 5031 "TOTNES CASTLE". Built Swindon in 6/34. Allocations included 84A Wolverhampton Stafford Road and 2B Oxley from where it was withdrawn and stored 10/63 - 2/64. Cut up at Cohens, Morriston, Swansea 5/64. 5031 was a regular hauling "THE CORNISHMAN" from Wolverhampton Low Level. This set has never been offered in Auction before.
