Lot 300C A Stunning Early Western Diesel Hydraulic Nameplate Set "WESTERN EXPLORER" together with its matching D1002 Cabside Numberplate. As carried by a Type 4 C-C Class 52 diesel hydraulic. One of the first batch to enter service in Green Livery with small front yellows panels. Built at Swindon Works and entered service on the 19th March 1962. Withdrawn January 1974. Cut up at BREL Swindon in June 1974. Both plates in restored condition. Sporting a red background. What an exciting New Year’s treat to add to your collection !!!!
