Lot 200 On instructions of the Executor of the late Ken Phillips Collection, Lots 200 to 208 are the residue of our recent 'Jubilee' auction sale. Brass Steam Locomotive Nameplate "MUNSTER". As carried by a W. Stanier designed ex LMS Class 6P 4-6-0 Number "45740" built at Crewe Works in December 1936. Allocations included Crewe North, Longsight, Camden, Bushbury, Willesden, Llandudno Jct and Aston from where it was withdrawn in October 1963. Cut up at Crewe Works 12/63. This plate is from the fireman's side and has six bolt holes and is ex-loco back and front. It has a repaired weld between the 'S' and 'T'. Recovered by the late vendor at the end of steam.
