Alloy / Steel - Diesel Locomotive Nameplate "ROYAL FUSILIER". As carried by "PEAK" Class 45 - BR No D68 becoming 45046. New to 5A Crewe North 10/60. Named on the 21/1/67 without ceremony and removed on withdrawal 8/88. Cut up at M C Metal Processing Glasgow 2/92. Ex loco as removed condition. We sold one of its Worksplate in our last internet auction in May (lot 157) for £800. The nameplate was found in a garage and had been there for over 30+ years so it's never been offered in the market place before! A rare find in 2020 - along with a ion of Ex Loco Diesel Worksplates - now offered in this same auction. Guide: £8000-10000
