Lot 392 C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate "42908". As carried by a Hughes designed ex LMS 2-6-0 built at Crewe Works in September 1930. Allocations included only Dumfries and Ayr from where it was withdrawn in August 1966. Cut up at Motherwell Machinery & Scrap, Wishaw, Near Glasgow 11/66.
