| Lot 345 | C/I 9 x 5 Oval Steam Locomotive Worksplate "LNER No. 3570 - 1912", As carried by an 04, built by the N.B.L Co as No. 19879/12 for the G.C.R, then as No. 1223, then L.N.E.R. No. 6223, re-numbered to 3570 in 1946. Rebuilt to a 04/7 in 1948 becoming BR No 63570. Allocations included Immingham,Keadby, Frodingham and Tuxford. Withdrawn from Ardsley in December 1961 and cut up at Gorton. |
