Lot 105 Brass Steam Locomotive Cabside Number plate "9026" As carried by a Dean/Collett designed ex GWR 4-4-0 'Dukedog' renumbered from No 3226 in 1946 after a rebuild from a Duke Boiler and Bulldog frames at Swindon Works in June 1939. Allocations included Machynlleth, Bristol Bath Road and Oswestry from where it was withdrawn in August 1957. Cut up at Swindon Works 09/57. First time in auction for this immaculate plate.
