Lot 40 Brass East African Railway Locomotive Nameplate "SAMBURU". As carried by a 29 "Tribal" class no. 2926. Built at the North British Loco works Glasgow Works No 27741 - 1955. Built to the same design as the Nigerian Railways River Class to Tanzania (formally Tanganyika) Railways in 1977 on dissolution of E.A.R.Named after the region of Kenyan tribe now more famous as a National wildlife reserve. Two of the class survived, 2921 Masai of Kenya in the Nairobi museum, and 2927 Suk in Tanzania. Front restored.
