Lot 230 Brass Steam Locomotive Nameplate "WHORLTON HALL" As carried by a Collett designed ex GWR 49XX class 4-6-0 No "6929" built at Swindon Works in November 1941. Allocated to only Shrewsbury and Banbury throughout its working life it was withdrawn from the latter in October 1963 having accumulated 716,550 miles. Cut up at Cohens Morriston, Swansea 01/64. Whorlton Hall is situated in Barnard Castle, County Durham and is currently an independent hospital.
