Lot 190 Alloy Steam Locomotive Headboard "THE TYNESIDER" As carried by the King's Cross to Newcastle Sleeping Car Train. The service started on the 5th June 1950 and lasted until 4th May 1968. Cast into the rear are other names of other Famous Named Train Express Headboard services. This impressive headboard is in Ex-Loco condition as from the last days of service. This is the first early version without its shield.
