Lot 350 Brass Rimmed / Enamel - Battle of Britain locomotive "CREST". Acquired from the original Manufacturer who held the license to produce all the original carried Crests and Badge for the Southern Region Locomotives. This was never carried but would have been kept as a spare in case of Damage. The Loco No 34073 "249 Squadron" Built at Brighton Works in May 1948 currently resides in a derelict condition at Steam Town, Carnforth awaiting restoration. The Latin shown on the crest PUGNIS ET CALCIBUS means "With Fists & Heels". An Extremely attractive item!!!!!!!
