Lot 202 A Superb Surviving Example of a fine decorated "LNW CARRIAGE DOOR" From an "DIRECTOR'S INSPECTION SALOON COACH" Built at Wolverton Works in 1897 No 10008 with fine ornate carving above the lintel and original plum and spilt milk paint externally. Padded leather to lower interior has slight damage and exterior paintwork damaged but original. Otherwise good condition. Fine craftsmanship throughout for an exceptionally important carriage. Height 1900, width 610, depth 100, (over handles 260). Later becoming LMS 45022 and used as a District Engineers Saloon. "What a stunning Piece of Historic Furniture from a past era".
