Lot 135 GER Signalbox Nameboard "PETERBOROUGH TURNTABLE". Cast letters on wood. In two separate nameboards. The box was the penultimate GER box on the March-Peterborough line and was located just east of Peterborough East station, controlling the loco yard and turntable (after which it was named) and the extensive sidings. It was closed under the Peterborough resignalling scheme in 1972. The actual turntable (previously at Bourne) is now to be found at Wansford station, Nene Valley Railway. As removed condition, with beading missing. 84" x 12" each sign.
