GWR Brass Nameplate "HONINGTON HALL" as carried by a Collett designed 4900 Hall Class 4-6-0 Locomotive No "5969" Built at Swindon in April 1937. Allocations included Bristol Bath Road, Penzance, Weymouth, Cardiff Canton, Oxford, St.Philips Marsh and Carmarthen from where it was withdrawn in August 1962. Cut up at Swindon Works in 10/62. Honington Hall is located two miles north of Shipston-on Stour in Warwickshire. Front and back restored long time ago. Stamped numbers on the rear. Right hand plate.
