Lot 316 Cast Iron Worksplate Baldwin 71102 of 1944 from a United States Transportation Corp 2-10-0 locomotive built for WW2. This loco was sent to Russia as part of lend lease and entered service with Russian State Railways as their number 2702 of Class 'Ea'. 2100 of the class were built by Baldwin and Alco for WW2 it is doubtful however if the US government ever received a penny for those that went to Russia. Plates from these locomotives are scarce. The locomotives operated in Eastern Russia on the Trans-Siberian lines and branches where they apparently stayed post war. Disposal details for this loco not known.
